Coit Tower
Great viewing platform and a museum of art from the
1930’s
Fisherman’s Wharf and Alcatraz
You can take the Cable Car from downtown to
the
Wharf. The boat tours to Alcatraz take off from San
Francisco. You will need to call the Red and White
Fleet (415) 447-0597 a day in advance to tour Alcatraz.

Golden Gate Park
Japanese Tea Gardens, Asian Art Museum, Academy
of Sciences with the Aquarium, Arboretum, and the Conservatory of
Flowers. Great for kids.
Pier 39
Under Water World, an under water look at
local
marine habitat. Also there are many tourist shops to
visit and a must to view sea lions on the Bay’s docks.
